Filling the smaller pockets of the Denver music scene, Deth Rali is an independent recording project from Colorado composer and musician, Jay Maike. Ben designed and packaged the artwork for his debut album, Light Levels, as well as leading design strategy for merchandise, advertising, and social media. Ben and Deth Rali continue to work together closely and will be releasing more material together well into 2023.
VISUAL IDENTITY, THEMES, & STYLES: Red as lead color, black and blue for contrast. Emphasis on abstraction and psychedelia, distorted or handwritten typography, nighttime, city lights, and the presence of a mystical and amorphous “Other”. Abstract & mysterious.
